The device is very similar to PRO 300. The main difference is that V 995 has a soft travel case and on the other hand does not have Selectable Bands, Threat Mode Display, and Escort Live Compatible. The device has four large buttons – Power, Brightness, Volume, and City.

Along with Highway and AutoScan, it has three City options, Standard, No X-band sensitivity (the device will not respond to X-band at all)and Low X-band (it will reduce X-band, but it will just put it on minimum). The display presents the signal strength of the detected radar along with the mode. The screen of this Beltronics vector v955 radar detector is large and letters are bold and very visible.

It also has a Dark Mode but in this case, you do not get the discreet visual alert by a SmartPlug, just the sound. This again shouldn’t be a problem because you can set your volume up or you can use even earphones. It comes with a one-year limited warranty.
