On the first look, it has almost the same buttons and features like the previous one. There are four regular buttons above the display and two of them below the display.

There are only two basic modes: Highway and City. But, the false alarms are still reduced: it has a POP alert, GPS and one smaller but powerful button Mark. GPS is integrated within the device and provides Red Light and Speed camera locations. Then, the Mark button: you can mark locations if you expect radars, lasers or any other supervision of speed limits.

Also, you can use the button Mute to memory the location where you do not want the warning, and the alarm still goes on. You can add locations to the Mute memory and you can also delete them. Under the display, there are two more buttons, Mute and City. Since this is still an older version of the device, you can mute the sound just at the particular moment. It means you cannot mark locations where you do not want the alert in advance because this Uniden DFR6 for sale does not have a Mute Memory like some next versions, Dfr7 or Lrd950 for example.

City button provides switching just between Highway and City mode, but again false alarms are reduced by POP and advanced K band filter.
